A M V - Acquiesce MAYU

Hi guys, I decided to register here and show my amv so I can get a larger opinion on them that hopefully can help me improve : D. My first time tryn to make an amv using just sync so yeap here we go. Hope u will enjoy it.

For your video, I found it interesting, your scene selection is classy, you have some very nice parallels between the animes (0:44 was so badass). Moreover you exploit the song's sounds and you use well your scenes to create both impacts and atmosphere (the phase at 1:34 is a nice example).

But, you don't pay enough attention to the colors, one example among others is at 0:57, we have purple/orange > green > purple with not more than a cut, it needs to be a smoother change.

Also, for a mix, you don't always vary the animes enough, it's not good to have a very long sequence with the same anime and then go all various. The video needs to be more homogeneous. Basically, you used too much of KnK in comparison with all the others

Another problem: your cam moves. They're not accurate enough, for example at 0:20 you should have made a stronger rotation and zoomed higher and deeper to really match the next scene. Be careful with that because it ruined all your zooms.
Then you have this "bounce" trend that breaks the movement of your vid. At 1:41, you dezoom then you zoom again, you should avoid contrary movements on the same scene.
Be careful with the rolls too, they shouldn't be used on close up like at 2:25 because it creates unconsistent edges. Well try using them only if they seem completely justified.

And last but not least, I think I spotted some frames blending/ghost frames (example at 1:06 with Misaka), remember to always have the same fps for both your scenes and the project. If you are on vegas, don't forget to check "disable resample" in the properties of the scenes you accelerate.

Ty vm MDL and tottaly im gonna try to change and improve em, about disable resample yeap i did but idk what was wrong there, ill pay more attention from now on ty for ur feedback much appriciate it.

Like MDL, I think the cut transitions between the animes are well found. The movements and/or characters' positions match so it's really fluid. Sadly, sometimes you had to add some movement to match with the previous scene's one and those added moves could be more natural I think. They're often desynchronized because they start too soon or too late, you need to focus they on the beats or audio peaks if you prefer. Also another thing that bothered me was the discordance between the lightning of some scenes that you stung together. For instance when you jump from a scene taking place during day from another taking place at night, the colors are drastically different and the best is to avoid those clash of colors either by fading to black, to white or by changing colors on one scene to match with the others (even if it's only temporary) or anything that can make the transition even smoother.
