I liked your video, it was well edited, the story felt quite clear to me, at least it's quite easy to follow, it's well structured. On a more technical note I think your masks didn't always really fit with the background in terms of perspective. I also didn't really like the cc around 1:25 this mix of yellow and blue felt quite wrong to me, but oh well, maybe it's just my tastes.

Thanks for the comment! I agree with masks too, I tried to do my best but sometimes the perfect result isn't possible. About the coloration yeah, I guess that's a matter of tastes Thanks again!

I guess you'll be disappointed, I made my JE video in few time like you did with your BC entry
I've put something personal, but overall it's a simple video.

Didn't really enjoyed that video =/

The color correction on the whole beginning of the clip nearly made me stop watching it. ^^'

I found the video too linear for me. Nothing very thrilling in the story and no risks taken on the technical side.

Moreover, on my point of view, the music/anime association is too cliche.

I hope you will do better for your next one because I think you have what it takes to see and go really further that this kind of project.



PS : I don't see the point of making a "making of" to show only masks and color corrections because a making of is supposed to show us something big we could have missed while we were watching your video.

@Skydean: Actually, drawing things by yourself, put together different scenes into one, is "taking risks", because it's something that can be notable and ruin the vision of the video. I know that she didn't make outstanding things like qwaqa did, but this isn't "not risks taken", but more "I didn't want to make something never seen before". Maybe you meant that.

And about your making of vision, I agree with you, except the part when you say "is supposed to show us something big". I mean, it doesn't have to be "big", it just has to be something that we could have missed, even little details. And she likes doing things like that. You watch the video and you think that she didn't nothing, then you watch the making of and you say "oh wow, that scene wasn't like that in the anime!". When you see a video made by Umika, for example, she surely makes more complicated things, but you can clearly see them, and if you watch the making of you just think "yeah, I knew she did that". In that case, I prefer watch a complete video that explains me how the editor made something, like qwaqa used to do. And talking about qwaqa, do you remember the shoe which he removed in "Time"? Those were the invisible and little things I was talking about.
