Kisagi - To the Destiny We Dream

Was meant to be made by the day Build Fighters Try came out, but some unexpected things happened. Sorry about the ending and a few scenes as well, was in a rush.

I didn't really like it :/.
First I'm really not a big fan of this music, nor of mecha amvs, so this didn't help ^^.
I think the pace was a bit off sometimes, and you had some static/slow scenes (0:57, 3:02 for example); especially on the first part, I liked the second part of the amv better: it was more dynamic and the pace was better imo.
And the main thing that bothered me is that it lacked impact: the editing was too linear (a lot of cut transitions) and I didn't really understand the story if there was one, so it felt a bit random to me since I don't know the anime.

It's okay, not everyone likes mecha anime nor the music.

The static scenes were purposely made, but could have been better in my part and I agree with you in most parts.
For cuts, that's basically my style. I'm not too much of a fan of doing a lot of masking, because I really do not need to do them imo. As of the story it didn't necessary have one, but rather as a theme I'd say.

Be careful with lip flap. Besides, don't hesitate to do color corrections, especially if you use a lot of cuts, you can't let two scenes with big colors differences just separated by a cut.
And I think you could better follow the rythm.

Overall it's not bad but nothing really kept my attention. Good luck for the next!

Same as my fellows, nice atmosphere nevertheless, I think the association and the scene selection was kinda cool.
