It clearly deserved the final. That's a pity. Now to talk about the amv in itself, I think it had a lot of room for improvement in the effects. They're enjoyable but too approximative, the masks have edges, the texts and eyes are too saturated, the HUD are a bit cheap etc. Also your overall color corrections were too monochrome.

The editing, despite being good, suffered from the colors and appeared more linear than it actually is. But yeah, the bottom line is scene selection could have been more varied.

So yeah, I liked it but I think it could have been more interesting.

I agree with MDL on the effects matter.
I think the editing, however, was not so good. What you do basicly is putting fight scenes in a row and most of the time they have similar framing and that is a bit stifling. You need to choose shots with different camera orientation, different framing or different point of view to let us breath ! Also it would be better to not only use moving shots for the same reason. Still shots are useful too at least to let us understand what's going on ^^'
